2026 Derby at the CMSA Eastern Championship

If you are participating in the Derby at the CMSA Eastern Championship, please enter here in addition to your CMSA Eastern entry. Note, the entry fields say "Futurity" but this is for the Derby at the Eastern Championship.

Derby Entries:
Open Entry Fee $500 + $50 Drug Test Fee. 70% payback on $500
Non-Pro Entry Fee $400 + $50 Drug Test Fee. 70% payback on $400

a. The CMSA Derby is only open to all REGISTERED horses that are 5 or 6 years old AND meet one of these criteria:
i. Competed in the National CMSA Futurity during their 4-year-old year.
ii. Pay a one-time late nomination fee of $750 plus the applicable $450/$550 entry fee for any horse that did NOT compete in the National CMSA Futurity their 4-year-old year.
1. The late fee will be added to the CMSA Derby payout.
b. Eligibility for the CMSA Derby follows the horse, not the rider. Rider can be the same or a different individual than the rider that rode the horse in the prior year's CMSA Futurity.
c. A Non-Pro CMSA Futurity horse can be ridden in the Open CMSA Derby and an Open CMSA Futurity horse can be ridden by a Non-Pro rider in the Non-Pro CMSA Derby.
d. Horses are limited to one entry, either in the Non-Pro or Open Derby class, not both.
e. There is a limit of three horses per rider in the CMSA Derby class.
